I only use Apple's computer for doing multimedia works, as Apple's computer is really powerful in this field. What do others think?

personally i think for multimedia windows is better, at my work when we need to do some multimedia we still use win, for a simple example if we nedd to do a power point win i better, cause if you make a power point with mac, you find a lot of problem

What xeron0719 mentioned here for multimedia is not power point. Powerpoint is not multimedia, it's just a presentation program. Multimedia is more complex then presentation program. Multimedia is like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop CS2, Macromedia Freehand, Macromedia Flash, Macromedia Dreamweaver, CorelDraw, QuarkExpress, Apperture, and so on...

What graphic program do you use with your iMac ? I use corelDraw 11, and Adobe Photoshop CS, and also Apperture. Macbook is cheaper than Powerbook, I guess.

I've been using an iBook G4 for a little over than two years now. I use it mainly for everything computer/internet-related, like school requirements, making webpages or graphics, watching DVDs, etc. I love it, I really can't imagine going back to using Windows anymore haha. Although I do wish I could upgrade to a Macbook Pro, but ah well, the iBook still serves its purpose very well.

eMac, still running MacOSX 10.3.9. At work I have no choice but to use their operating system of course, but here at home, I surf the net of course, play games, sometimes do photo touchups. I just trust the system more. Only once in a while do I spot a virus, and they are easily done away with. And not one single time did I ever had to format the drive and reinstall, though I did have to reinstall application programs.

I like using Mac OS. One thing I like very much is if we don't like any program, we don't have to uninstall it, just move it to trash, and there will be no registry problem like in windows.

I've used an Apple before, but I still prefer an IBM PC over it. Macs are great for digital art and looks cool. But here in the Philippines, PCs are more widely used than Macs. =)
