I'm still struggling with my career as a writer. I won't give up but boy would I like to make some money while I'm writing. It could be anything legitimate as long as its in the general field. Any ideas?

Two sites that I know are legitimate are Associated Content and Constant Content. AC pays directly on acceptance and publication. Range is about $3.00 to $15.00. CC is more like an agent. You set your price and type of license. They're more professional than AC and have higher standards for your writing. Each has its own advantages. Some people write for both. There was a very good discussion on mylot by a member yesterday and today. Sorry, I can't remember her name, but search through the writing topics. The title has something to do with writing for two sites.

I managed to find her name for you -- sharone74. Hope it helps. Trying to find anything or anyone on here is a nightmare.

Yes, I had a very long discussion going yesterday about Constant Content, but over night the thread was deleted, so all of the information within it was also lost. Anyway, I prefer Constant Content myself, because it does earn more money in the long run, and I don't mind a bit of waiting for my articles to sell. The link to that site is: http://www.constant-content.com/?aref=2932 There you set your own prices as was mentioned, so you know you are being paid what you deserve. The site also accepts international members unlike Associated Content, so that helps many other people that aren't from the US. Anyway, you can give that site a look if you want, and if you have any questions, just feel free to ask me and I'll share my expertise with you lol... Best of luck with your writing :)

Deleted?! It was a good conversation about a perfectly legitimate topic. Why would mylot delete it unless it's because it sees those sites as competition? I find that very upsetting.
