shopaholic, which all changed after I got married. Then came the big picture. I realized for the sake of the relationship I needed to have a sense of limitations to my expenses since there were new things that we needed to purchase, and save for. However, I do not think my husband can save a dime save his life!
He is always spending a lot of money on lunches, and has to buy every new gizmo's out there he possibly can! This is frustrating, because he really doesn't get the big picture. I really need help on this issue!

saving for your future will only then realized when you get old and when there is nothing left for you. you and your husband should be reflective on this. have a talk with regards to your future. saving would be hard to do just as smoking would hard to break but you can go through it and without noticing, you are ready to retire.

I think saving is very important! And, my husband works hard for the little bit he gets. That is why I just don't understand why he doesn't understand this, because I think it is a relatively new concept for him. Luckily he knows though if he makes an extremely unusual purchase, he better explain himself rightfully to me!

You'll have to talk to your husband so you can agree on lots of things. Budgeting and saving for the family you are setting the foundations thereof are important aspects on what you've embarked on. Both of you will have to do each share of the task because the one who shoulders it all shall become embittered in the coming days and that's bad. It could lead to your break up. Talking it out cooly is the best solution you have at hand. If this doesn't work, you will have to ask for a professional to work this out with you. You will have to do it now, for now is the best time you've got.
