How do you feel about rudeness? It literally drives me insane. Why do people find it necessary to be rude or to belittle others? i just don't understand it. i hate rudeness of any kind. Does it make a person feel superior if they exhibit rudeness? i know i would much rather be surrounded by politeness and good manners. How about you?

I don't like rudeness at all either. Sometimes i can at least understand that a person can be nervous about a certain stressing situation so it's ok, but there are people who are ALWAYS rude...it's just the way they are and they have no intention on changing it...we are all rude one time or another...but some people are rude per se...and frankly i don't want to have those people close to me lol.

i don't see the need for rudeness. i understand having a bad day and being snippy to others, but when you realize that you are doing so, how hard is it to apologize for your behavior?

It is not that hard for someone who has a bit of humility and common sense...but some people don't have neither of those, or their ego/pride is so developed that it won't let them apologize either.

It is something that has follen to the wayside, people nowadays show very little respect and common courtesy towards others. Screaming at others in cars, on cellular telephones, in lines etc.

it's a shame that people seem to have forgotten basic politeness and manners. it is no harder nor does it take longer to be kind than it does to be rude and obnoxious. a smile instead of a smirk may take the rudeness away from someone else, so i try to share them often.

I don't like people being rude to me but when they do I just show them they aren't the only ones that can be rude. Maybe the wrong thing to do. Rudeness in my opinion is a sign of insecurity.

Rudeness begets rudeness, but isn't that stooping to their level?

Well-get this I know 2 people that sound just like that-they make fun of people on tv, me, and they gang up together to make fun of loved one's or anything. It seems to be the only way they know how to act...but they don't act like this in public or around the In-law of the family.See it's mother and daughter...I don't talk to them there horrible people so why let them bother my life-make your life better-and let there's dim in comparision don't let it get to you and it bothers them while your happy. I want good decent people, who have values, morals, and respect other's opinions. Rudeness is not necessary even though I feel rude when I ignore these peope but they want to hurt me so they deserve it.

you are not alone in that view my friend... i really really hate rudeness.... for me rudeness is a sign of weakness, you know why... because they really want to be superior, by doing so. they want to feel that they are not that weak. i still believe in respecting other people, and being sensitive to there feelings.
