Mouse eyebrows anyone? / myLot

My aunty informed me yesterday that in the 18th century fashion followers wore false eyebrows made from mouse skin! I think that is absolutely disgusting lol. Have you heard of any fashion stories or followings as gross as this lol. Let me know, thanks:)

There was a Countess once a long time ago that would bathe in the blood of her virgin maids in waiting. She had her ones that she picked and thought that it kept her young and beautiful. Can't imagine anyone wanting to work for her.

euw thats gross thats worse than those ladies that pluck all their brows off then draw them on with a pencil why do they do that it doesnt look better than the natural brow lol

The story goes that they used to put flour on their wigs and their faces lol I wonder if thats where the term "pancake makeup" came from xx

Hahahhaha, that is so funny. I have never heard of such a thing. I have looked into many fashions as I am an artist, but have never heard of that one. I'm not saying it isn't true, but I personally have never seen or heard of it with my searches on fashion. Blessings, M&M

I agree with you that i also find this absolutely disgusting i mean i hate mice. I can say that i for one can not stand mice they are so .... eeewwwwwwwwyyyyy .... LOL!!!! I know that my Granmother used to tell us about beaver balls taking away wrinkles in the past they were used often ... LOL!!!
