I get the feeling that most kids on audioscrobbler are hipsters. I guess I like what they call "indie." But really, I think they could call anything indie. What bands/ genres are you into?

I personally like to listen to metal music and rock music, those are my two biggest genres to listen to. I have recently begun to explore indie music a small bit, but havent made no real progress in that area of my music expansion.

When I'm on last.fm, there are 4 radio stations that I have bookmarked on my computer. The first one is of course my play list, after that I have Artists like Deftones, Artists like Pendulum, and Artists like Golden Boy with Miss Kittin.

I think my favourite genre would be metal and hard rock, yet I do like some songs from other genres - it's not like I see a label called "pop" and think it must be bad just because it's "pop". I like to give every band a shot to see if I like them or not.

Well, I like pop mainly, but not the usual one, more like baroque pop or chamber pop. And I like to hear world music a lot, especially japanese, chinese, hindu or spanish. And of course the usual genres like alternative rock

Yeah, the indie genre has to be the broadest genre of all time. I prefer punk and garage rock and anything else of that variety.
