is obesity a sickness???

people sometimes become fat as well as slim. is this comes under any sickness or its just like that

yes i have also heard that obesity is a kinda sickness,but i think this is causing sickness,first of all obesity makes us unfit,then many more problems comes with it,i think you should ask a doctor,only he or she can tell you everything clearly.
