I heard that there are ghosts in white house. Is it true?

Several years ago i read a book written by an Indian who returned from US about the ghosts of Abraham Lincon, John Kennedy etc in the White House. Is it true?

Mr. rumour is moving at hurricane speed. In Udipi and Mangalore, every house has a ghost story and they have so many rituals to get rid of it. It takes another two decades for them to get rid of such beliefs unfounded.
