Which one do you prefer? Windows Vista from Microsoft, or Mac OS X from Apple? For me, I vote for Vista, it is because of the poplarity of the Microsoft Windows series. Many people said that most of the new functions in Windows Vista are already existed in Mac OS X, which is released on 2001. Is Microsoft copying Apple's OS or not? What do you think?1

I prefer Windows Vista, but I have to admit that Windows Vista bears some striking similarities to Mac OS X. I'm sure Microsoft borrowed some of Apple's ideas. It is really graphic intensive like Apple usually is. I still prefer Microsoft for compatibility's sake.

Yup, I agree with you. Microsoft must borrow some of the Apple's idea, especially for the graphics.

I'm a mac fan so my answer here is of course, the big cats, JAGUAR, PANTHER, TIGER! I haven't used Vista yet but I'm sure the mac cats will just eat up the competition :-) I do have virtual pc installed because some software makers won't wise up and make an OSX version.

But you know, Mircosoft Windows is so popular, Can Mac OS X beat Vista? It is so miserable to tell you that Mac OS can never repalce Windows.

With the new Intel Macs you can have both! I have a macbook pro, but won't be tainting it with Vista. A friend of mine has a Macbook and installed vista on it, it looks cool...but a cheap imitation of OS X. He also had a hard time navigating around trying to look for files, and even trying to connect to the internet was a hassle and he eventually gave up lol. Mac OS X is a lot more user friendly and easier to use. You don't have to worry about installing software to plug in your camera or printer, or scanner. Spotlight makes it easier to search for your files. The downside is that a lot of companies (mostly gaming) don't make Mac compatible games...so if you're a big gamer make sure you have a PC around so you can play them.

I see. But what is the propose to install 2 operating system in a single computer? It uses up a lot of your hard disk space , isn't it?
