I wanted to do some hats and searched till I found this site. http://patbythehook.blogdrive.com has some very nice patterns and I've made a couple of them. They seem reasonably easy to follow so wanted to share with any of you looking for patterns.
There are a lot of hat patterns, some stoles, capes, doll and baby sweaters; you might want to take a look and see if there is anything there that you would like to try.

Thank you for the link! I will have to check it out. I love http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com They have a million patterns with wonderful sorting so they are easy to find. They also have a search tool. I love their sister site, as well, http://www.knittingpatterncentral.com

I've found some at lionbrand.com . Also I like freepatterns.com . They are both great for lots of patterns!

It is a great site, thank you very much for introducing it! Some hat ideas are very tempting! But the ponchos made me actually think about skirts... There will be summer in couple of months!

Thanks for the link. I have lots of yarn waiting to be knitted and crocheted, so this site may give some inspiration to get started.. 
It is also great to give the crafts a personal touch, so it is not often I follow the patterns exactly..

I have been looking for some new hat patterns and this site has some very good ideas. I will definitely be making some of these. Thanks for the site.
