why dont you try NORTON's ?? as you should also know that it is the best one among the all for your computer. Go to norton's site and download its 3rd version, itz free and itz updates are also free yearly !!

Norton is the most popular, but it is nowhere near the best. Kaspersky rates number 1 in every test I've seen with a 99.7% detection rate. NOD32 typically comes in second. Norton's detection is good at about 92%, but it takes over your entire machine and slows down every single function. If you don't believe me try uninstalling Norton and you'll see how much faster your machine is. I prefer Avast. It's free and has a good detection rate at about 83%. It also has features that some of the paid for antivirus programs don't like a boot scanner. AVG is rated at around 78% detection, but it uses very little system resources so you won't have to worry about your computer being slowed down.

The best anti-virus at present is Kaspersky which has a detection rate of 99.6% (from my memory). Norton and McAfee have detection rates of around 98%. Now there is one antivirus which runs on the Kaspersky engine and gives the same detection rates- AOL Active Virus Shield. Therefore it is the best antivirus. The other free antiviruses which are good are (placed in descending order as to their detection rates): 2. Antivir, 3. Avast! 4. AVG. Antivir is also good and gives comparable detection rates as a commercial antivirus.

i am using NOD 32. It is a silent but very powerful worker. go to www.eset.com and download it. other antiviruses start communicating with their server. so they start talk back engines. but NOD is not like that. you wont lose any band width. i feel that is the best.

no free antivirus is as good as a new updated one. i've tried many of them. try to get a Kaspersky or a Bitdefender. i've used KIS 6 and Bitdefender IS 10 and had no problem with my computer. you need to keep in touch with the updates, so no viruses could attack you PC
