Do you think people are on myLot just because they want to earn?

I joined Mylot not just to earn,well it's included in the package. But first of all, I wanted to gain friends from all over the globe. i think it's just so amazing, people exchange thoughts even if they are too far from each other. And even if with different nationalities, they still respect and welcome each other and became friends.

Most of the members have joined this Mylot site to earn money . we also get fun and friends ; information and knowledge ; some have posted that they are improving their writing skills thru this site . And some have said that they are learning good English thru this site ...

A lot of people are in mylot only to earn and you can see it in the quality of their discussions and responses. But for most nice people here it's half and half, yes the earnings are not great but it motivates people and keeps them coming back. If i wasn't being paid I would still contribute but it would never be as much as I do now. I got hooked on many forums before but with time moved on and stopped using them or became just an occasional user, with mylot it became a daily habit for me :)

You can pretty much tell by the responses. If they are all short, slightly off topic or contain tons of typing errors (typing like you just don't care) then chances are they are here for the money. Initially they might see it as fun but quality answers get you more respect at the site. There are tons of things to read about at the site and you can post a question about any subject and ask for opinions.

I joined mylot just for earning, but then I realized that mylot is really improving my English. I just feel like I have been better after all this practicing. So now I "enjoy" writting English and earning money. but I really earn a little. In this moment I have $0,89 and I don't know if they really pay.

I think that most of the people here came to this site initially to make extra money. Over time a lot of them found this site to be more than just a chance to get some extra income. It was a place to find friends, learn about different cultures, and get advice. It seems like a great place to me. Like you, I think that the money is just a bonus.
