What is the best way you've expressed love?

I don't really think we always have to say something ,we have been married for 45 years now and I think that the little things we do for each other that go unsaid are just as important , xx

Hello Collis, What I learnt recently is that sometimes it doesn't take two to tango when it comes to love and that to express love is sometimes a choice to do these things: be patient, kind and not jealous, does not brag, arrogant or act unbecomingly, does not seek my own, provoke or take into account a wrong suffered rejoice with truth, bear, believe, hope and endure all things Such a long list but I hope to be able to do it one day =)

Personally for me, I like to do things daily without being asked. This makes my wife feel very special and that's my goal, so actions speak far louder than words.

I feel like the best way to express that you love someone is not even necessarily by saying the words I love you - although those words should definitely be said! ^_^ I just think that the best way to show your love is to make sure that you always do something to make the person you care about happy. Tell them when they make you happy. Let them know things about them that make you smile. Write them a note just to say how glad you are that they are in your life. Draw them a picture, write them a poem. I have done many of these things. There is nothing much more precious to me in life than making another person truly happy. And to me, that is what love is all about. Having someone to make happy who longs to make you just as happy in return.

I took care of my Mother for a year before she passed away. I think that told her how much I loved her. Actions speak louder than words and the best way to express love is by doing things with love.
