I feel since most of revenues generated in cricket worldwide come from India. So there is lot of money at stake for illegal betting syndicates, match fixers so they try to influence the results of matches or try to get hold of crucial info like team composition , batting or bowling order, team plans by tempting pkayers with whom they have contacts so that both sides can money. It is shameful and disgusting that some people stoop so low so as to tarnish the image of sport itself, reputation of countries, players, people involved. I feel that we tend to things sweep under the carpet after the things blow over and only try to some quick fix which never works. It is high time the police, bureacrats, politicians, citizens of our countries seriously take steps to root out such scandals and corruption and illegal money involved.

I want to ask the same #$%%^ question. I think people in India think the cricket is the GOD and all contribute in the name of 'GOD'. This is where the bookies start, sad situation. Kochchar is one of them. He was also held for the same type of case three years ago. He quoted on Times Now that "Marlon Samuels was like his son and he wanted him to turn out to be like Chris Gayle." He then asked about the bowling order of the West Indies. Marlon hinted off that he would bowl one-down. About batting, he said that Dwanye would make his debut and was a promising player. This kind of things add black marks to the game. It also a shame for both the countries.
