Not happy with the editing here on mylot

I am a typo queen. I cant use MS word and paste what I write here after a spell check. I wish they had some way to at least edit what you write. I just noticed one of my discussions has a big typo in the heading. I hate doing that because I always feel so dumb after wards. Have you ever made a typo like that? What do you do to correct it?

Why are you not happy? Because you don't use your copy and paste options? I thought we can use that if we reached the 500 post mark.

In my opinion,there are obvious reasons why they wouldn't allow us to copy-paste texts here.To cite first reason would be that people may copy-paste nonsense texts just for the heck of accumulating their comments in discussions to earn fast.I wouldn't appreciate the copy and paste options even after reaching the 500 post mark,had i being one of the mylot web masters.You see,kids/teens or even the older people for that matter are ignoring the importance of typing the real and correct words when emailing or blogging(blame it on the advent of the gadgets and softwares in their various forms.So i guess they are in some way tutoring us to flex our fingers.lol

I agree with you on this. I am dyslexic and I have will jumble up the letters in a word or I will leave letters out of a word all together. Spell check or editing would sure be a help to me.

Don't worry about it! Just check the rest of the posts, and you will realise it's no big deal. But I think they are going to fix that.

Amen, I'm horrid at spelling and it really slows me down for the same reason as you, I don't want people to think I'm stupid. The great thing is getting closer and closer - I'm pretty sure at 500 posts you can copy and paste. Yippie, spell checker goes to work!

I too wish they had an edit button. i even re read my posts before submitting them, but even then I still miss some obvious typos. Actually sometimes I wish i could add a thought that i orginally left out.
maybe if we complain enough they will give us an edit button.
