Do people actually go one dates these days? Do you go on dates with your s/o. If you're married, do you and your husband still go on dates? What kinds of things do people do when they date these days?

I think you're right to a certain extent. It used to be when a man wanted to be with a woman, most of the time he spent with her was in the full company of her family.

My husband an I have instituted date night. Once every other week we let one of our moms keep the grandkid and then we go out for dinner. Sometimes a movie. Sometimes just a nice walk along some hiking trails near us.

It's wonderful to see married couples who still go out together and date. I really do think it makes the relationship more intimate and exciting because you're still both trying very hard to make each other happy.

I am Married. ANd yes, i still date. My husband and i date, occassionaly. During "Anniversaries" or "Monsaries" for that matter. Sometimes, couples need to do this to revived the feelings they have for each other. Dating can go far like fishing, watching basketball games, shopping, having a cup of coffee, hiking, swimming and others.. instead of the conventionally "dining out" in fancy restaurants.

I have been on dates fairly recently. I tend to go on walks followed by a coffee or a drink. I also like going out for meals. When I was younger I often used to go to the cinema but these days I don't do that as that doesn't give you an opportunity to talk and find out about each other.

I remember being younger there was much less to talk about on a date. These days, if I were dating, I think talking would be all I wanted to do!

Of course, these days many couple still go on dating..Even married couples should go on dating because they need to spend time together so that their love will grow.. Me, i go on date with my daughter because her father is far away, so we spend time together even my partner is not here. Some, of dating couples specially teenagers, they go to the malls, watching movies or eating on expensive restaurants..

My husband and I still go on dates. Not as often as we used to but we make it a point to have at least one date night a month. We usually go to dinner and a movie, just the two of us. Sometimes we'll go somewhere fun like the zoo or the aquarium instead. We're actually going on a date tomorrow to go see Norbit and next week we're going away for our first anniversary! :)

I think that's great! It makes the relationship still feel like something you both want to work on and maintain, keep interesting and fun! Congratulations on your one year anniversary!! Celebrate!
