I finished Bachelor of Secondary Education and already have a license to teach. But the problem is, I don't like teaching.

I have also recently finished my teaching credential and so far I absolutely love working with children. But, I have made a promise to myself that if I ever stop enjoying teaching, I will quit. The last thing we need are more teachers who dont enjoy what they do. Kids are smart and they know when their teachers dont want to be working with them. It will affect them emotionally and their attitude towards learning in a negative way. I am sure you got into teaching because you do care for children and you would not want to do this to them. There are many other things with a teaching credential that you can do besides teaching. What about doing tutoring for the school district, or working for a textbook company developing materials? I would be curious to know what it is you specifically dont like about teaching and then I could give you more helpful suggestions. Good luck!

Sounds like you have some things to think about. I am a secondary teacher and have been teaching for 7 years now. Sure there are some things about teaching that are not so good, but there are also some things that are wonderful. Maybe you could give some thought about what else you can do with your degree. Museums, aquariums and zoos often hire teachers to run their educational programs. Large companies also sometimes hire teachers to run their professional learning activities. Good luck with whatever path you take.
