I was wondering if anyone else had any problems before with fruit flies.I had come home to find some fruit flies in my kitchen.I looked up ways on the internet to get rid of fruit flys and some ways was to clean the drains in sink beacause fruit flies like we moisture.Well teh one recommendation was putting I think it was bleach down the drain but I wouldnt probably do that Because i might forget and put somthing else down there and KABOOM!LOL.It also said to get rid of real ripe fruit because the like the ripe fruit. The it said make a bowl or bottle of homade stuff like juice or something sweet ot put in it with cooking oil.We tried that but to no avail didnt work.Well I finally got rid of them about 2 weeks ago.Thank Goodness.Dont know what I did though because I only threw away ripe banannas and they still hung around for a couple of days.ANy other suggestions so if I happen to get them again(I HOPE NOT)then I can get rid of them?.

I had this problem for the first time last summer and they just got on my nerves. They got into the bread bags somehow the fruit. I just ended up putting all fruit in the fridge and I looked online like you for help. I found that by getting a jar with a lid and putting vinigar in it and cutting small holes on the top helped. They were attracted to it.
