Intro music for Empire of the Sun

I've got the soundtrack at home and listen to it as much as possible... it makes the moments of the film all come back. One of John Williams' best scores, though he's more famous for Indiana Jones/Star Wars etc.

this is one of my all time favourite films and yes I can still hear the choir it was actually the Ambrosian Junior Choir if you want to look it up on amazon or elsewhere for the soundtrack. I think I love this film due to the fact that the emerging conflict is seen through the eyes of a young boy rather than an adult which most war films tend to do.
