I need an intercostal route from lake erie to florida

I understand there are 2 intercostal waterway routes from Lake erie (turkey point / port dover, ontario to florida. I would like to purchase books to provide stops along the way, and a place well protected and reasonable rates with amenities or close to a town to dock the boat for the winter and live on our boat. we need a place to call home for the winter, somewear warm. thanks mike

I do not understand "not at all", does this mean you don't know. There are 2 intercoastal waterways down to florida and the gulf coast. I was looking for someone who has travelled 1 or both journey's and could give some advice suggestions. I am going to make this journey and I am afraid "not at all" is not helping a whole lot.
