VOIP, truly amazing?

VOIP is a new technology in the communications. It uses the internet or web as a transmission medium of your voice calls. It is very convenient and powerful because you can carry your telephone number anywhere. As long as there is internet you can call a mobile, landline and voip number anywhere in the world. Truly amazing.

How do i get it? Is VOIP a software program? Can i make international telephone calls with VOIP free of charge? Is there a fee that i have to pay before i can use VOIP?

try to search for voipbuster, they offer some areas which is absolutely to call on landlines.

there are lots of FREE calls through VOIP like yahoo,skype,msn & gooletalk have it already(PC to PC calls, PC to mobile & landlines)..they are using VOIP only that they charge more cheaper that regaular international calls..you need sofware(softphone) or VOIP phones or gateways and terminations in order to have international calls to landlines/mobiles..some are offering free to test their applications.try www.solegy.com, www.virtualidm.com or just search for voip provider..lot of providers in the voip forums (www.voip.org)too.
