just blank on my mind hehee, may be you could check it with newest update on you antivirus, or just "end process" it on task manager windowsXP. Btw you open firefox tab too much hehehehe, it will drain your memory bandwith, slurupppp like drinking from a glas ^^.

hmmm ... :-? (you should cek this emotion icon on your yahoo messanger for get clear ^^), may be you sould change your anti virus to the other, or the best way is get off your hardisk and plug it on other system that allready have the newest antivirus enggine and data update and scan it from there, if still nothing happen, than CUEK in aje =))

I'm sure it's not a virus, but I do not know what activities it does. It used my bandwith a lot.

wat i can tell frm experience is that its a system process and ideally i read somewhere it sudnt be terminated....but i do it anyways. whenever my hard drive is engaged for no reason and my sys slows down considerably,i check if svchost.exe is running in the task manager and terminate it at once. i have no clue wat it does but the easiest way out of the probs it creates is to terminate the damn thing.

Hm thnx for your info. I never terminate svchost from task manager. I just drop the connection from my firewall.
