Why is it the Floppy drive are easy to get virus??

Did you noticed that when you insert a diskette on your floppy drive and yet have a virus your floppy drive will be infected too and you will never ever use it again? Did you ever experienced it?

i think that's occur because the floppy drive doesn't have a protection of virus that we called anti virus. So every time virus can infect to the the diskette more easy than to hard disk.

Yes I guess too thats why now a days it is not that good to use floppy disk for it can get virus easily and just use cd or USB.
