both of my kids are into swimming like me

I have an 8 yr old and a 5 yr old who love to swim. I have been swimming since I was ....well.... since I can remember. I just started them both in swimming classes last fall. They are both naturals. It's been exciting to watch them evolve into little fish. They both love the water and we go as often as we can. My 8 yr old has competitions, but he is still in the learning phase, so he's not the star swimmer on the team (yet). I love that fact that he wants to keep at it. Any advice for keeping him interested, practicing, so that one day he will win those races?
