I have a crystal ball!

A friend of my mother gave me a gift last 31st december 2006. When I opened it up, it was a crystal ball. I like it so much because it is so beautiful. However, I've been having a lot of bad luck since I got the crystal ball. On the day I got the ball, I lost my cellphone. A week after I lost my wallet. A problem with my bank account occur two weeks ago. My two son got sick. Do you think the crystal ball has any connection with all the bad luck I've experienced? If there's any, how can I solve the problem?Should I throw it away or do I have to give it to another person (how cruel of me)?
