If you use flylady, do you actually keep your shoes on?

I can't wear shoes inside the house. It just runs contrary to everything I've ever been taught. I like all the other ways to get and stay organized, but I don't wear shoes.

Flylady is a very good website about cleaning and tidying your house and getting you started in the correct habits to help you keep the house lovley and clean and tidy. Check it out.. even if you don't use it or need it it is a very good website to read. I brought the paperback book which is also very good, very much like the website but easier ot read as you can take it around with you.

I go around in my socks, don't believe in wearing shoes in house but can see where she is coming from. Perhaps we are meant ot buy a pair of shoes just ot wear in the house

I signed up for flylady but there were just too many emails for me so I quit. The one thing that I did start doing was to wear shoes in the house. I put them on when I get up and wear them all day. For me, this did help me to get in the clean up mood and stay neater. That is the only thing from fly lady that I did that helped

I feel your pain! My mother always told us to remove our shoes before entering our own, or anyone else's home. When I did Flylady, I got dressed, but left my shoes off. She'll never know, right?

She'll never know!!!! That's right...... BUT remeber Big Brother is always watching you!!! So FLylady may be watching you as well!!!LOL Did you feel guilty and caught out like a naughty child the first time you didn't put your shoes on? I totally agree with you about the shoes

No I don't keep my shoes on..... I don't even wear slippers, just socks. We don't own a pair of slippers between the five of us in our house, gave up buying slippers as the children just didn't wear them and we spend the slipper money on more important items that we needed. I don't believe in wearing shoes in the house and I do ask people ot take there shoes off when they come into my house. Sometimes I do the housework in my pj's, it depends if it is pj wash day, so much easier to keep them on and be comfy. She does have some very good ideas on how ot get organized, but I think once you have been given the ideas you bend them about ot fit in with your own lifestyle. I have the book, it is very good ot keep picking up and flicking thro for ideas and to take in the car ot read... as longs as you aren't the driver!!LOL

I've actually given up a bit, because I found the emails too distracting and the website a bit too cluttered. I didn't know about the book! I'll have to look at it.

The book is easier as you have everything in one place and can flip through the book and find what you are looking for.
