My Mom is Sharpening Up...Again

Recently I found my mom going through my books on psychology, novels, etc. I also found out that she was now more interested in TV channels such as the National Geographic channel. So obviously, she is sharpening up herself again. My mom is in her 50s by the way and I have to say that she did became a bit dull after doing clerical work for quite a while. So how do you think should I help my mom with her new found thirst for knowledge without offending her?

Happy to hear this. Your mom is still young. I suggest that you just let your mom do what she wants for a while reading your books, etc. then if you find something in the net which you think she's interested in, show to her, appreciate it, and eventually you'd find both of you helping each other in so many aspects.

Good for your mom. I'm 54 years old and also interested in many things still. Let her surf in the internet, she might create more interest. I think she would not be offended if you suggest to her to use the internet.
