Is there a himalayan cat?

there's a cat in the Prince of tennis anime which has brown paws and the tips of its ears are also brown and also around its mouth. it says there that its a himalayan cat. is there really a himalayan cat?

yes there is a cat breed called himalayan... we have a himalayan ragdoll mix..

well hes half himalayan and half ragdoll.. ragdolls are the cats that just go limp if u pick them up.. i have a picture of him in my deviantart gallery if your interested.. www.dreamingmyth.deviantart.com

i never knew there's a ragdoll breed of cats until now. they go limp when u touch them? cute! i'll take a look at that. ^__^

There are two species of cats that look almost
alike. The Himalayan and the Snowshoe. The only
two major differences are, the Himalayan has a
slightly longer coat of hair, while the Snowshoe
always have white paws.
Other than that they can but not always, look alike.

i hope i wont sound stupid with this question.. but.. will it be safe to say that himalayan cats can only be found in the himalayas??? ^0^;;; lolz.
