This is a very sensitive topic for me, but everyone here from what I've seen so far on MyLot has been very respectful and helpful. This is my story - a few months before I was born, my mother was pregnant with twins (me being one of them) and my sibling was misscarried. I don't know a lot about what happened other than that - I'm not even sure if my sibling was a boy or girl. My mother doesn't talk about it frequently. I was just whondering what people's thoughts are on this. Has anyone else experienced the same thing? Will I meet my sibling in the afterlife? (I am Christian). What connections are lost or what connections do I still have? Any thoughts or feelings would be appreciated, I'm not too judgemental so please tell.

The same thing happened to my husband, when my mil was pregnant with him. Someone hit her in the stomach when she was about five months along. Only one baby survived. I do believe that he will meet his sibling one day. I think all babies go to heaven and one day my husband will be united with this sibling he never got a chance to know. The same will happen for you. I don't know for sure whether or not you would have had any close connections with your sibling. My sister and I are 2.5 years apart in age, but because we were always so close (we came from an abusive family), we often know what is wrong with the other one without saying anything. She knew the day I went into labor that I was in labor because her stomach hurt so bad. She told my mom to call when my baby was about ten minutes old because she knew he had already been born. She said she felt it.
