Is posting external file links allowed say the ones uploaded on rapidshare

I have always been a believer in file/data sharing and love to share links of useful stuff i have found/uploaded while surfing on the net. I was just wondering if the same is allowed here or is it against the TOS of mylot.
It would sure be a lovely addition to mylot if that is allowed
