New York City -The Most Polite City?

I've read from Reader's Digest that New York is the most polite city among 35 cities in USA,Europe,and Asia.It was tested through a three test conducted by the staff. Western Cities rank the most polite, however,Asian Cities proven as the least polite according to the survey.

I am sorry I have to disagree with their findings. I am a born and raised native new yorker and I do not see NYC being the most polite city. No way.

Oh, it's nice to know about that because I also doubt it. Especially their findings about Manila,Philippines. My, I thought our country is one of the top 5 most polite. Anyway, the mayor of the New York commented about it. He said that New Yorkers became the most polite city because of the 9/11 incident that made New Yorkers realize the value of life so they end up caring to other people.
