Lost PenPal

Seeing so many Indian people frequenting this site reminds me of my one and only penpal I had from the age of 13. His written English was exceptional and his handwriting so beautiful. His name was either Mohan or Moban, I could not tell, and I was self conscious to ask. I think I did ask one time but he must have misunderstood. We wrote to each other all the time and it was great to receive his letters. He went to university to study engineering and was planning to move to another country - Australia being one of his choices. We lost touch at one stage, found each other again briefly then I went to live in Singapore for a couple of years and we lost touch for good. I wonder if there's any chance we could re-connect and catch up. This all happened nearly 40 years ago.

Tickle I am so sorry about this and I do hope that you will be able to find him one Day. The only thing I can suggest is if you still have his old Addresses then take it the Search from there you just never know what it will bring. I do hope you find your Friend and good luck to you

What a neat idea to look for your lost penpal on mylot. You may also try myspace.com not one of my favorite places to hang out but there are alot of people there also. Wouldn't it be great if he was on mylot and you could pick up your friendship all these years later.

Yes Faith, it's a rather exciting thought. But probably not likely. I tend to let my imagination run away sometimes...lol. I'll do a bit of searching when i think of it and let you know. I've searched for some old school friends here in Australia with no joy. I guess you never know your luck tho'.
