Mylot reputation

Hi. may be I am wrong but I don't think this star rating helps in some way i.e. earnings/other benefits. It only shows what you contribute in myLot. The reason behind your rating falling down to eight could be some -'s given to you. Try to post more better from now onwards and it will again go up. Good Luck.

I feel that we should continue posting good quality respones then our ratings will surely then increase as ratings can change from day to day. So we shoudn't feel sad if gives one negative rating for whatever reason though it is easier said than done. Since more good posts, more positive ratings, better star reputation. Enjoy the whole mylot experience and be positive. good luck.

The number on the star depends on how many + & - ratings you get, it should only used to evaluate "quality" of post not if you like the person's views or not but sadly a lot of people use it to retaliate and "punish" anyone they just don't like.. Anyway it can go up and down day for day, you may just got a few more negative rates last day but no need to worry about it, as you are not a spammer or an abuser you will soon go up again :) Also 8 or 7 is still good, you can't just post what people want to read so they give you a +s all of the time ..
