After GOD established the covenant of fruitfulness with man HE had made, the devil came, tempted him and he fell. With his fail, the plan of GOD for fruitfulness was corrupted. Sin came along and with barrenness. That is why barrenness is a natural thing with sinners. Until the sin problem has been dealt with, no sinner can be free from barreness.
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Romans 5:12
The plague of barrenness came into the world as a conseguence of one man's sin. When Adam and Eve fell, a curse was placed on them in Genesis 3:16
Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception, in sorrow thou shall bring forth children, and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
The word "sorrow" does not just mean the sorrow of labor during childbirth, but also that many will weep and sorrow before conception.
For barrenness to leave, sin the root cause, must first be destroyed.
