Who would you recommend and why, I use Symantics/Norton at the moment only because it is part of my Broadband package. Because it is free I am wondering if it is good enough for the job it is intended to do. I download alot of torrents and ma cusrios if Norton is a goood enough defence. Your Thoughts?

ive used norton before and personally found it was a memory hog and had a poor detection rate compared to kaspersky (6.0 beta) which i use now.
the best anti-virus out there now is NOD32, it is the most advanced out of all anti-viruses out there and it leaves the smallest memory foot print which is good for slower computers.
