Im not sure if anyone has played this game or not, but I've been beta testing it for several months now and if you're a fan of the RTS genre I REALLY recomend this game without hesitation. The game features three factions who are in a universal struggle to win the galaxy, it offers litterally hundreds of units (and some of these can really fill the screen they are so large), complete modability, a very good graphics engine, a deep and involving storyline, multiplayer support and oodles more. The demo is available at www.gamespot.com if you want to take a look, and the final game is also release in the last half of this month (feb 2007). I will of course be getting this game as after spending so much time in the beta I can honestly say this game offers more than any other RTS game in existance. Has anyone else tried this? and if so what did you think? you do need a quite modern PC to run it but its very worth it.

I also beta tested this game and it got me to buy it on release. It is without a doubt a great RTS for me for one major reason. If you are REALLY good, you can win using upgrades instead of spamming out vehicles. Most games whoever can make 500 enemies wins, period. In this if you get something like tech 3 gunships they actually have the power that an upgrade SHOULD have to take on large numbers of enemies. Also the whole "this is strong vs that and weak vs that" system is played out well and very complex unlike many games that have ONE hit and kill type unit.
