Do you believe in Numerology?

I had studies few things about Numerology and learnt that the outcome of a particular task depends upon the numbers. Usually, it is associated with Date, time etc. My date of birth is 31st may and hence my lucky number is 4 which is the sum of 3 and 1. I have observed that things I do on a date which is a multiple of 4 really works well for me. I don't know if that's psychological, just a coincidence or has some numerological significance. However, I guess it has got its own significance due to which it's a different science of study altogether. Similarly, my brother also believes a lot in astrology and things have really worked oyt for him after taking some stones. I am just curious how useful and genuine these things are????
