Man, i had a really bad dry spell this past few. i log in everyday in mylot like i always dom but i cant seem to bring myself to write! even if i see a discussion that interests me, i just cant find the energy and the writing juice to respond to it. so to you dudes with posts above 500, how do you do it? im a member here for over a month now, but i haven't even breached the 200 barrier yet! i could sure use some advice!

Sometimes it's good to take a step back and take some time off Mylot. Do some real-world things, read the newspaper, surf the Web, and maybe you'll come up with some new ideas for discussions.

actually all you have to do is not to oblige yourself. even if you like the discussion but your brain seems to miss the sense dont pushed it hard.. let yourself have a long break and explore your thoughts maybe by traveling or watching tv. let your brain be the one to sip some opinions and knowledge from others and after that log in and be the one to pour in some thougts. just dont oblige yourself if you are really enjoying the site energy is not a problem.

you just have to get in there and start typing. once you get going you will be fine. sometimes you need a brake, so when you feel like you don't have anything to say then don't say anything. when you find a topic you want to get into just dive right in. don't worry you are going to make it to 200. you are almost there

Sounds as if you need a break. I usually only post about 20 to 30 times a day, and I spread it out over the day. I look for the most interesting discussions, follow up on my own and my friends, and spend a little time looking at the new ones. It's easy to get burned out, especially if you try to write good replies. Thinking does take energy. Go eat an energy bar and come back later. LOL
