Lets face it... half of the current world population were not born when we landed on the moon in 1969.
The Space program of the sixties was an exciting time as we were sending men into space for the first time.
Are you sorry you were not born to witness it?

I was about 12 and was in the school boarding at that time, and we were listening to the live commentary over the radio. We had a good time guessing what Neil Armstrong's first saying is going to be. I said it would be "Veni, Vidi, Vici" another said it would be "It's my world now" and we were eagerly waiting for the first saying, "It's one small step for a man, but a giant leap for mankind."
