What do you do to look busy but slack off at work?

Do you ever have any times at work when there is NOTHING to do? I had a friend who worked in a job like that. All she was required to do was answer phones... she took her latest craft project to work, chatted on line etc.
One job that my hubby had, he had nothing to do, so he walked around with a clipboard lol.
As for me, i do mindless things like filing documents or surfing ebay or jump in here (it still looks like i am typing :-)
Just curious!!

I pull up a database on the screen and rifle throug it like I am looking for something. Or I pull out a journal and make it look like I am ready something important. or sometimes i just slack. My boss doesn't mind the occasional slacking as we all need breaks.

I usually keep a couple of papers on my desk - which is usually just some filing to look like I am doing something when people walk by. I wish I could bring some crochet with me. There are some projects that I would like to do. But mainly I come to mylots or check my emails until someone passes by. :-)
