just one more chapter im done with reading of Full Metal Alchemist! i've been reading this manga on and off for almost a week and yes! im so hooked up! i never knew this is so good!
anyway, after this im off to mall and hunt for its dvd or vcd copy.. after reading i'd like to wacht it!

I never did get into the FMA manga. I just love the anime so much and the history and the characters in the anime. The manga is so different and I could never accept the differences. I know the manga came first, but it doesn't have two of my favorite anime characters and the backgrounds that I loved - like for Scar, Lust, Envy, Hohenheim, Wrath, and Sloth - were all different in the manga. And what alchemy is is different, and I like the anime explanation so much better.
I'll be interested to see how you feel about the differences between the two!

actually yeah, they have a big difference, i saw some anime episode at animax and it seems that anime is much better. there are things in manga and events that dont have a good explanation unlike in anime. the characters of scar from manga and anime version are so different.uhmm
i dont know much yet, i havent watched the full anime version but definitely anime is much much more good than the manga.

If you have at least a DSL connection you can download the episodes via torrent (bittorrent/bittornado,etc), saves you a lot of money. I've downloaded the whole series with fansubs- that is english subs by FMA fanatics. Also don't miss the ending OVA- "Conquerror of Shamballa"!!

yeah ihavent but im looking forward to it. actually i saw some of its anime episodes and you can really tell alot of difference. im beginning to like the anime version! hopely i got to find a copy of the whole anime.
