Has anyone heard the new album yet?

I was wondering if the new album would be yet another new direction for the band...first Cliff's bass playing; then the first album without him had to be a 'mourning' period of sorts without Jason Newstead; St. Anger....(shakes head at that) would be the last album prior to James' rehab. I can only wonder what's on it?

No i haven't.
I'm a huge fan but i don't have time to keep updated on all the bands i follow. i support mainly indie bands which need a leg up as i run a e-zine rock site. (currently new)
Is it any good?
My brother always calls me for liking them. he's a dark metal fan and much more heavy music. =)

I don't know--only one single has been released, but I heard it's more like the old stuff, ala Cliff. What's the url of your e-zine (I listen to all sorts of stuff)? I'd be interested in checking it out!

I heard that there's a rumor of the new single being available (someone on myLot mentioned the website but I don't recall it). Should be interesting!
I think the reason for the delay is that they were touring in Europe late last year after James was sprung from rehab. Hope it lasts!

I don't know what the title is, but Metallica's getting ready to release a new album (thank goodness!) with their new bassist and a clean n' sober James Hetfield. As long as he doesn't lose that sexy growl, I'm happy!
