Would consider hooking up with someone on mylot?

If you became friends with someone on here and they lived near you and wanted to hook up for drinks do you think you would do it? I ccannot see how it would be any different than those dating sites. I would never meet with anyone on the internet and I have a hard time trying to figure out how someone could. Have you ever done it? If so how was your experience. DOes anyone ever really find true love?

I have never met anyone in person that I talked with on the Internet, and I doubt that I would; but I'll never say never! I've never even been on a "blind date", either. I know a lot of people have met their spouses on the Internet, in fact my brother met his second wife online and they have been happily married for years now. It's just not my style. I am too cautious about trust issues. On the Internet you never know who you are actually talking to. I'm a bit of a pessimist, and I assume that most people looking for a relationship online are misrepresenting themselves. So, for now I say no way, but who knows what the future holds?
