What if someone cuts in front of you while driving or in front of you at the grocery store? Coughs in your face?
Is a rude sales person (I was at a store once and the only sales lady in the store was on the phone...no doubt talking to her guy.........ewwww...i put the item down and walked out of the store)What about people that have more than 8 items at the grocery store?
What do you say and how do you treat these people?

if someone cuts in front of me at the grocery store i glare and them and say excuse you. if someone would cough in my face i'd probably smack them. i'm not kidding either. no one has done that to me yet but if you do you're getting smacked. if there was only one sales person in the store and she was on the phone i'd go up to her and say are you going to work or talk on the phone? i would've walked out of the store too. the grocery stores don't bother me because our lanes are all 20 items or less. so 8 is really nothing to me.

I have to tell you what happened to me last night. It fits perfectly in the discussion. I was out at a bar that I reguarly hang out at and now almost all the people. As I was walking toward the bathroom, this guy who I have never seen before was talking to two women one I know. He was blocking the path. I politely said excuse me to get by. As he moves out of the way he makes some comment like 'your excused, boy that smelled' and fanned in front of his face. As if I said excuse me because I just farted. I stopped for a second then turned back and tapped him on the shoulder. I said, excuse me but that was quite rude. All I did was ask to be let by and you made some rude and obscene gesture toward a lady. Perhaps if I knew you that would be funny. But I don't and it was uncalled for. Then I pointed to the ladies he was talking to and said 'i hope you treat these ladies with better respect than you just treated me'. And walked away. As I walked away, his friends stopped me. They were like we don't know what he just said but he probably deserved it and good for you. Then one of the women came up to me and I appologized for making a scene but she said no he did deserve. He had a trash mouth and I put him in his place. He was so embarrased and sunk into a 'little boy' type posture.
I just didn't like being disrespected when all I did was ask to get by because he was blocking the path. It felt good to let him have it. Some men think they can get by with it. Well, I'm here to tell them that they can't.
Had to share.

Generally in most cases like this , I will just complain about the attitude to the person that is with me and I won't say anything . If they were to catch me on a bad day thought , I would probably tear a strip off them , thank goodness for them , I calm down easily and will usually just let it slide .

It depends on the situation. if someone cuts me off in traffic, so be it. If they are in that much of hurry then please go in front of me because I wouldn't want them driving behind me. i might cuss at them, but then i let it go.
having sales people at the counter ignore you happens to me all the time. Sometimes I put a mean look on my face and tap the counter. Like I am impatient. Sometimes I say excuse me...can I get some help here. But i do not put the item down and walk out. That would mean I would have to take up my time to go somewhere else.
I usually confront people. I have no problems saying that i find something rude. Most time people don't mean it. And they will admit it and life can go on.
