Valentines Day Plans?

We stay home. We do not even plan a romantic dinner. Valentines Day to us is just a commercial holiday. When my kids were younger we celebrated the day after by going to the store and buying 1/2 price goods.

Me and my husband are finally having a weekend alone for the first time in about 6 yrs. We are going to Gatlinburg, TN on the weekend after Valentines day. I too the point were I am counting days now. I splurged and got us a dream villa suite with the fireplace and jacuzzi. Hopefully we get to have a good time.

PLAN??? what is that? LOL. THe plan is to work all day, drag my sorry butt home, maybe try to have dinner together if he feels like cooking. Your right though it's stupid to try to go out to dinner that night. Statistics say that Valentines Day and MOther's Day are the two busiest days in the restaurant business. I think I will just hae a toddy and call it a night.

My husband's brother is coming into town on Valentine's Day on business. He is bringing his wife and daughter, so we will probably all go out for dinner. Most restaurants are too crowded so I hope we find one that isn't too bad. Otherwise, I would just prefer to stay home.
