Is my chemical considered 'Emocore' music? Most of people in Brazil say so. :x

How do I know that?? in any article from any music or rock magizine it clearly states AND I quote "My Chemical Romance is back at it again with their dramatic rock album: The Black Parade"

My Chemical Romance is a real Emo rock band and they deserve good recognition to there great hits. Right now, there album Black Parade made a great success here in our country and they made 2 number one hitmaker songs. These songs are 'Welcome to the Black Parade' and 'Famous Last Words'. The songs are great and they really captured the hearts of many teenagers and young adults. Other great emo-rock bands that Im sure you're going to love are Dashboard Confessionals and The Used. Try it out it will gonna rock your world.

I think My Chemical Romance considered emo music, I dont know if we must give "core" after emo... I dont really bother about the call about their music, I just like their music very much...

emo core is emo + hardcore MCR is emo punk...u can know that juz by listening to their songs... emocore music is much more heavier...and a lot of screaming and growling

My Chemical Romance is NOT a emo! They are NOT! They are alternative rock but because they sounds emo , many people says that they are emo!

They have some good songs but I think they are more like a punk style of music. I don't know exactly what emo is but I guess I'm not the only one confused about this style of music.
