Is our attention too divided?

Do you think that satelite radio, the number of t.v. channels, remote controls and the internet have given us all a touch of A.D.D.? Do you think we will all be on medication because of our inability to focus on one thing at a time? Perhaps all people will adapt to having their attention diveded. What do you think?

I think some people can learn to adapt, while others cannot. I can watch TV, type on MyLot, visit other websites, IM people, and work on homework all at the same time if need be (okay, so there never truly would be a *need* for that). Yet others hardly are able to use the internet, much less do multiple things at the same time. Sometimes however, there are important things that you should focus all of your attention on, rather than letting your mind drift.
