I will post the link so you can read for yourself. I was in absolute tears over this. I know how frustrating it can be when your kids do not listen, but come on. The father was mad his 2 year old daughter would not go back to bed. He hit her & knocked her unconscious & left her outside in a diaper & blanket..... http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/02/08/toddler.death.ap/index.html

This happened an hour south of where I live. It is all I hear about on the news and the more I hear it, the more I wish the man the same fate he gave his daughter. I feel so bad for the little girl, with the windchill we had -15 to -28 degree weather during those days :( The poor baby!

I havent read the story yet, but just from what you said, he is a *#($%&%^#*@ ( something i cant say on here). I have been frustrated with my son before, but NEVER to the point that i would even think about (never mind) doing something like that.

That is just so sick , what kind of a world do we live in ? I think they get off far too lightly , People who do these kind of things should be put in a room with the parents of the people they have assaulted or if they have harmed their own then still put them in with other parents or people who are trying to adopt , let them kids out the punishment ,in fact just let me at him . xx

This makes my whole body shudder with disdain. I do hope that this man is imprisoned for life. Many will disagree with my position about life imprisonment, but I can't help it, that is how I feel. He certainly doesn't need to be out in society where he can kill someone else who doesn't do just what he wants, when he wants them to.

My heart sank when I read what you wrote. I opened the link and thought I was going to be sick. My kids are 27,25,23,21, and 18. I would not put them out in the cold then(when they were small) or now. I know it takes a special man to be a Daddy. but in this case it would take someone with half a brain to know you can't leave a little person outside alone no matter what the temp. but to leave a toddler out on a night like this is just inhumane, and cruel. I thank God for sending angels to her and taking her to her heavenly home before she had to endure worse. this was horrible enough.

I was in tears after reading this article and IMMEDIATELY went and hugged both of my daughters afterwards. This man is sick. Even if he were locked up for the rest of his life, that would not bring justice to this case. How could a father do something so horrible to his own child? What kind of upbringing must he have had to turn him into the person that he is today? It absolutely breaks my heart to read stories like this of people abusing their own children when there are so many others out there who are unable to even have children.

Wow, that is terrible! I can't believe he did that. She was barely a toddler for crying outloud, and he left her outside? What was he thinking?!

Thank you for posting this. I was devastated when my husband told me about this. I can't imagine what is wrong with people that they would do that. I just keep thinking of that little girl & know that she must have been so scared--. I know that the ANGELS & Jesus were there with her, but I don't understand what was going on with the Dad... (not that he even deserves that name). Hopefully it makes all of us aware of our surroundings!

After reading your discussion i don't know if i can handle the whole story. I can't imagine what that little thing went through that day. I get so sad when i hear things like that and i just dwell on it for days.

This brought tears to my eyes. How could a person do this? I do understand frustration but how could you knock your child unconscious and throw them out of the house. That is awful. I hope he gets thrown in jail for a long long time and never has anymore children.
