Planning to post and respond but end up in reading and reading...

Always happening like that!! I'm not so advanced in English language sometimes there is sentences I can't understand I choose to skip response on that discussions ha ha.

Yes this has happened to me. I always plan to visit my friend list but i get stuck reading whats being said or i get addicted to a discussion and i find myself rambling. it must look bad but i'm only just finding my typing fingers so i normally do say alot. Recently i have been able to respond. It isn't has much as i can or did when i first joined but it is more spread and i love sharing my opinions and views in other peoples post aswell as starting my own. Kudos buddy! ~Joey

Oh I've had those days were all I seem to do is read and I don't respond all that much. I try to keep it balanced but some days I swear my mind is not on posting. It takes me a lot longer to find responses where I think I can add something to the discussion going on so I end up reading and reading. I gain a lot of insight but it doesn't do much for my post count or earnings.

All the time! I logged on tonight intending to check my discussions, and then start a discussion or respond, but I've been caught up in looking for quality posts to respond to. It's okay, though, because it gives me an idea of what people are like, and I get to know more about the world than what I find in my small corner of it. It is enriching my life this way, and also helping me to realize how important networking is in real life too.

This happens to me too. Everyday i set a target and i say okay today im going to do so many posts and not let anything distract me but there are so many interesting discussions everyday and i just cant resist reading them. Sometimes people are posting something about something i was always curious about or wanted to know so i end up reading all the responses. Many times people are sharing their problems so if i can help i always read all the responses first to see if theres anything i can add. People are so helpful over here, half the time i dont even end up adding anything but im still glad i read it. i think you should start a club for all of us ;)

Yes - many times! I was scrolling through discussions and stopped to read yours. Then I decided I should respond instead of just reading! It is interesting to read about different ideas, thoughts and opinions. While I don't always agree with some of them, that doesn't mean I have a problem with that or give a negative rating. We're all entitled to our own opinions.

This happens to me almost every time I visit myLot. I first go to discussions I've started and I read the responses and I give every one "+" and I thank them for replying and if it's necessary I put some extra information. Then I go to discussions that my friends started and when I see a discussion that I can put a quality reply I see that another member said what I wanted to say. But that's no problem. I'm glade that some one else thinks the same. :D I have encountered some very interesting discussion here and some useful tips for health, make extra money, relationships and I thank you all. ya,I am just the same as you. feel glad to hear that there are many friends have this similar experience. I worked hard to post when I was a newbie to mylot, and wanna see my points increasing everyday. I admired everyday top users, and wanna be one of them. but after several weeks, I became to focus less on my points, just wanna read some discussions and responses I am interested in. sometimes there are so many great responses to some hot topics, and I couldn't help reading and reading, even forget to post my own response. so my points does not increase much since I reached 300 several weeks ago. Now I always read carefully first, then I'd give a response if I like the discussion. Also I am used to rate a + to those good discusions and responses because I have learned much from their wonderful viewpoints. Mylot is becoming a real community to share our opinions! I like mylot, and I'd like to invite more of my friends to join mylot. it is really a great community!! Have a great day!!

Join the club. There are times when I spent the whole morning not being a able to post a single discussion and didn't do anything but read people's thread. It is not a waste of time though, it gives you an idea on how people think about different subjects. Very informative and entertaining at the same time. Some postings even make me laugh.

yeah , , actually it happens to me most of the time , , LOL i can actually relate to what you are saying , ,:-) it's like , , i am enjoying every single word that other mylot users have to say about a certain discussion , , :-) i love to stay here , ,in fact , , the reason why i joined here was because i'm here for the money , , but now , , i do not care about it , , :-) i am here for new ideas and i love getting new things from different people ,, :-)

Good, I thought that it was only me that had this problem. It is like an addiction. I cannot stop coming here. And it takes me like an hour before I post anything, because I am reading what everyones opinion is on a good topic or throughout the day I come up with a situation and instead of asking the question I look it up to see what others have posted on the subject and then I find a different topic and it just goes on and on and on from there...LOL

This happens to me every time I get on myLot! I, too, love to know others points of view. Everybody has an opinion on everything--and that's why takes so long to read it all! Some of this stuff is better than a novel that you can't put down. I've made a lot of friends here, and I feel like, through their postings, I'm really getting to know them! It's cool.

Hey, we're in the same boat chavezrmc. i start out with the intention of posting and responding but i also end up reading what others have written before me. and then i realize that mylot has succeeded in bringing people from different cultures together. it doesn't matter where you came from or what color your skin is, we all have our own opinions and there is always somebody who will be willing to listen (or in this case, read)
