election gimmicks???

election is just around the corner.... would be candidates are starting to become wholesome and generous. they have started counting their contributions to society. suddenly they become concerned with the poor and the needy. And here they go again promising something that when they win it will all just go down the drain. Enemies becomes allies and allies became enemies.... will this cycle never end? is there really an honest candidate who is transparent and cared for the citizen of his country?

it's disgusting, isn't it? it's obvious why they do it. i'm embarassed for them to be doing such things only to get the sympathy fo the people. it's as if they could earn the respect and trust of the people in a matter of months --- heck, respect and trust are never earned in a short time! what do you think?

yes, respect... you cant just demand that you have to prove that you are a respectable person... not just for words and deeds... that should be something true to your heart. politicians play a ugly game but can still face people and lie. a read once in a comic strip " whats the difference between a thief and a politician, thieves rob then run, politicians run before they rob." lol
